After Touch is a lecture performance that addresses the hidden realities behind the plane-tree monument by Joep van Lieshout which is situated in front of the Amsterdam Perron Oost Museum. The performance sheds light on the invisible forces shaping the area, including rising house prices, gentrification and air pollution. While the monument itself remains untouchable, this performance illustrates how economic, political, and environmental factors invisibly impact and influence the monument.
