Cyberhives is an audiovisual performance that explores our growing dependency on technology within society, using the bee as a symbol of nature’s delicate balance. Through an audio journey, the hum of bees transitions into the soundscape of a bustling city. As the performance unfolds, this urban symphony progressively undergoes a digital metamorphosis, distancing itself from its organic origins and delving deeper into the realm of digitized sounds.
Performed at The Akousmatik Bush; a biweekly experimental sound event series in Berlin, that has taken place in the open air throughout the summer of 2020, curated by Wei Kang Beh and Sid Talukdar. Performed at the Performance Garten Festival Köln 2020.
